I graduated from Meredith College with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work and from East Carolina University with a Master of Arts in Teaching with a concentration in Elementary Education. I previously taught kindergarten and first grade in Pitt and Greene County Schools. I joined Parrott Academy in the 2018-19 school year as a first-grade teacher assistant. The following school year, 2019-2020, I began teaching first grade. I have been a part of the Parrott Academy family for a long time. My husband, my oldest daughter, and I all graduated from here. My other two children are currently students here.
