About Me
BA UNC Chapel Hill
Upon graduating from UNC Chapel Hill, I moved back to my home in the Kinston area to work and raise children. A therapist by trade, I worked in multiple clinical settings before owning and operating Neuse Regional Rehab Associates with my husband.
After enrolling our first child at APA in the first grade, I immediately gained a role as an Assistant in Lower School using my therapy skills. I later transitioned into the role of Character Education Instructor for Lower School. Due to the continued success and support of the CE program, it has developed into supporting social and emotional skills throughout the entire school including programs for all Lower School, Middle School Life Skills Club and assemblies, 6th grade Table Skills and Manners along with a Senior Etiquette and Preparation Brunch. During 2024, I’ve had the privilege to lead to the 60th Anniversary celebration of our school in marketing and development. I also have now graduated two children from the Academy who both attend UNC-CH in the dental school and undergraduate programs. At APA we truly believe Character comes first and is lifelong!
