After earning a B.A. in English and a secondary teaching license from the University of NC at Wilmington, I pursued my M.A. in English with a concentration in literature and literary theory. My aim is to encourage students to explore their love for reading and to express their thoughts critically and creatively. I also serve as the yearbook adviser, where I work with students to capture and celebrate the memorable moments of the school year. In support of the yearbook, I devote numerous hours to attending sports events, fine arts performances, and classroom presentations to take photographs, giving me diverse insights into the Patriot experience. Moreover, I am responsible for organizing and producing the Spectrum literary magazine, which provides a significant platform for showcasing our student writers and artists.
