Originally from New Orleans, I moved to eastern North Carolina due to my husband’s service in the USMC. We decided to stay here to raise our family, and I’ve been a high school math teacher at Arendell Parrott Academy since fall 2003. I teach Precalculus Honors, Math IV, and AP Statistics, and I also serve as one of the junior class advisers. I’m proud that both my children are APA graduates—my daughter is a nurse, and my son is in law school. I truly love being a part of APA and the supportive community it offers.
